Company Background
Richard Williams started R.W.Services in 1978. Richard an MG owner himself aimed to provide specialist mechanical and general garage services to other MG owners.
Peter Mason, the present Owner and Manager, joined in 1979. As Peter put it, “Richard and I had roots”, Both Richard and Peter were at school together and their fathers were also colleagues in the motor trade. Having completed mechanical apprentiships Richard and Peter both owned MGs as did several of their friends and so it all started.
Richard went on to do a degree in Engineering and then to designing engines for MG Rover whilst Peter took over the Garage and continues to run the company.
R.W.Services has a full time staff of 3 long standing and highly trained staff mechanics plus a number of part time administration and valet staff.
The Company has a long and proud tradition of working with the MG Owners club both in the local area and nationally. |
